God Bless Texas

A few weekends ago my boyfriend had to go on a work trip to a small town in Texas.
I had been begging and bothering him ever since he got this job to make a weekend out of one of his trips, so we did just that.
Just so happens that Dallas was on the way to where he needed to be, so we left a few days early and stayed a night in the Big D. After that, we headed to New Braunfels, which is about forty-five minutes from San Antonio. He did his work during the day and we went to the riverwalk that evening. I didn't take a lot of pictures, but here are a few from our trip.

Of course we had to go see the Gas Monkey Garage & eat at the restaurant...

and play in the fountains at a shopping mall in Dallas.
Aaaaannnnddd eat at Whataburger, duh.
I absolutely loved the Riverwalk in San Antonio...

We were total tourists and took the boat tour, it was so fun!

Shot of the back of my dress.. [old, similar, shorter version for only $9.99!)
We stopped in Austin on our way back for lunch....
and of course Anthropologie. (aka--my heaven)
I know what you are probably went to Texas during the Ebola outbreak?!
Yes, we far we are not showing any symptoms (we think?)
Buuuut, my boyfriend did come down with a little cold over the past weekend and a slight fever that only lasted a night... we think it's just a sinus infection.
Prayers appreciated for him to start feeling better!
I hope your Monday was amazing!

Fall Dress with The Real Arnolds

*I hope you all like blurry iPhone pictures, because that what I've got for ya today*
Dress: Savoir-Faire, old (similar, LOVE this) Blazer: Kohl's, old (similar)
Shoes: Cato's, so old (love these grey booties)

It has definitely turned to fall here in Arkansas. The weather has cooled (by a few degrees), and a few leaves have started to drop.

You can still wear your dresses in the fall, just add your layers! Don't shy away just yet!
Style yours with a blazer and close-toed pumps like I did, or with a boot/sock combo like Amy of The Real Arnolds did below!
Don't y'all just love how she styled her dress for fall?! I'm kind of obsessing over that leopard coat!

Be sure and check out Amy's blog here!!

Look for Less: Console Tables

I have been scouring the internet for possible nightstand options for my master bedroom.
I'm not really sure exactly what I want just yet, but I came across a few options that were a tad bit pricey. Soooo, being the bargain hunter that I am, I went on a little search for their less expensive twins.
Lo and behold, I found them!
{Pottery Barn} Tanner Console Table
{Walmart} Metal Sofa Table
{Restoration Hardware} Dutch Industrial Console
{} Renate Grey Sofa Table
I was looking around for console tables to use as nightstands because I need a longer length to fill some space. Console tables are a great alternative to your typical nightstand, as they tend to look a bit more fancy and custom to your room.
Here is a little inspiration for ya:
